Senior presidents Ellen Samuelson, Yusra Murad, and Sharon Sethna hope to wrap up the year with many plans. “We’re hoping to possibly get all the advisories and students involved,” Samuelson said, referring to the construction of a mural.

The Students Against Destructive Decisions student group has a lot on their plate this month. The group is collaborating with Art Club to come up with ideas for a mural to put somewhere in the school that encourages students to make safe and responsible decisions. “We’re hoping to possibly get all the advisories and students involved,” senior president Ellen Samuelson said.

SADD is also planning on setting up an ice cream sundae bar in the dining hall one day before winter break in order to raise money to bring in a speaker for the annual SADD week that will take place second semester. The group is working to send senior presidents Ellen Samuelson, Yusra Murad, Sharon Sethna, and hopefully more members, to the national SADD conference this year. SADD continues to work hard at spreading their message of responsible decision making and creating a safe school and community environment.
