The Rubicon

Melissa Nie
Sophomore Melissa Nie is an illustrator for The Rubicon. She served as a Staff Writer last year. When she isn't gushing about her cat Coffee, she is drawing galaxies in the margins of her notes or reading any book she can get her hands on. Melissa was born in Vancouver, Canada, and she moved to America when she was five years old. She is on the fencing team and her blade of choice is foil. An avid fan of the hit web series Buzzfeed Unsolved, she can talk for hours on end about conspiracy theories and haunted sites around the world. She can be reached at rubicon.spa@gmail.com
