SMB Wolfpack falls to St Croix Lutheran in an anticipated game

The SMB Wolfpack played one of their hardest games of their existence this past Friday against St Croix Lutheran. The team is in their third year together and has already achieved tremendous success in the class 4A. Most of the crowd was dressed in bright pink to celebrate the annual fight against breast cancer game. Some of the players wore pink socks as well to stand in solidarity in addition to the raffle prize of a stay at a hotel.

St Croix Lutheran was the runner up to the class 3A championship last year so this game was certainly an extra challenge for the Wolfpack despite their success in the class 4A this past season.  The Wolfpack lost the game 14-50 with touchdowns by Jalen Suggs and JaVonni Bickham. Minnehaha Academy student, Siegel Howard played an especially strong game with countless line calls and fouls in his favor.

The Wolfpack’s next game is Friday the 15th at Fridley High School at 6 pm.
