![ECLIPSE. A solar eclipse is a rare event in which the moon is between Earth and the Sun, blocking the view of the sun. In other parts of the United States, the view of the Sun will be totally blocked, constituting whats called a total eclipse. A total eclipse is a completely different event that is another level of coolness. “Happiness and self-fulfillment should not come from comparing ourselves to others and thinking we’re better than someone else. Instead, it should come from self-acceptance. It should come from the belief that we can overcome societal expectations and value what makes us unique,” senior Stephanie Li said during her speech on Nov 11.
“What was the origin for your personality? What was the experience that — when everything is traced back — is the root of it all?” senior Elliott Tong asked during his speech on Nov 11.
“Despite our difference in faith whether that be sectors of Islam or different religions or faiths all together, we as human beings have the responsibility to stand up for one another,” senior Tabeer Naqvi said during her speech on Nov 11.
“The people around you love you more than words can express, believe in your ability to achieve every dream, and are extraordinarily and unwaveringly proud of you,” senior Sarah Wheaton said during her speech on Nov 11.
