Its that time of year again as the new iPhone 8 hit the shelves on Sept. 22.

The outside of the brand new iPhone has been redone but stays true to the classic iPhone design. The outside of the phone is covered in glass on both sides with aluminum covering the sides. A dustproof feature has been added as well as a signature wireless charging feature. The phone has a feature called “True Tone” which adjusts the brightness of the phone to be appropriate based on your surroundings. “Dual-domain” pixels allow the phone screen to have a nice view from any angle. There is a 12MP camera in the phone allowing for higher quality pictures to be taken on the phone. The power balance on the phone has been improved allowing for more to be done on the phone without draining the battery as much as previous versions. The upgrade is worth it for people who are unsatisfied with the previous versions, have a phone upgrade coming up, or have a job that requires a phone with the modifications and specialties that only the iPhone 8 will have. I would not be interested in the phone because I am content with my current phone and it does not have any problems functioning. The most exciting feature of the phone is the new wireless charging option for the phone. The previous iPhones came with cords that could easily be frayed or broken because of odd angles while charging. This would allow the cord to stay stationary in one place and not having to worry about plugging in your phone in a specific way while minimizing the chance that the charging cord will break.
