![ECLIPSE. A solar eclipse is a rare event in which the moon is between Earth and the Sun, blocking the view of the sun. In other parts of the United States, the view of the Sun will be totally blocked, constituting whats called a total eclipse. A total eclipse is a completely different event that is another level of coolness. Sophomores Duncan Fleming (10) and Tommy Stolpestad (6) begin a play.
Blackhawks lacrosse played against The Breck School/Groves Academy on May 24. The game ended early due to lightning with 1:31 left in the third quarter, with the Blackhawks losing 4 to 9.
9th grader Theo Moen said, “The team was trying to play our best and get a win going into sections. Although the game didn’t go to plan, we now know how to prepare for sections.”
Sophomore Tommy Stolpestad thought the team played well, “I think we played well for having a lot of injuries on the team.”
