In other parts of the United States, the view of the Sun will be totally blocked, constituting whats called a total eclipse. A total eclipse is a completely different event that is another level of coolness. PHOTO GALLERY: Boys basketball falls to St. Croix Prep in section quarterfinals
The boys basketball team, seeded #9 in their section, took on St. Croix Prep in the section quarterfinals. During the first half the game was back and forth, but St. Croix Prep took the lead as they converted more of their chances. The second half began 33-24 with the Spartans down. The Spartans closed the gap and made it a 4 point game, but St. Croix Prep went on a 19-0 tear draining three after three. The game ended in a loss for the Spartans 65-44.
