With nine matches under their belts, the Girls Varsity Tennis team continues to work hard through the rest of their season. Junior Numi Katz has been on the varsity tennis team for four years. Katz plays number one singles, but is currently out due to injury. This year, the team is comprised of more seniors than usual.

“We have six seniors this year and it’s really nice to have people with a lot of experience on the team, ” Katz said.

The team is very dedicated and although they are part of a tough section, they aim to do well. The team also really values each player and what they do for the team.

“Because we are a really close team, we are all aware of how much work people put in, especially seniors,” Katz said, “I think that really drives us to do our best in every match and be successful as a team.”
