Football players excited to kick off season

This year the St. Paul Academy and Summit School football team has integrated with Twin Cities Academy and Great River School. This integration, along with continued partnership with Mounds Park Academy and a renewed fire among the players and coaches has brought new hope to the football program. Junior football player Sam Carlson is ready for a more successful year not just on the field, but off the field among fans and teammates as well. “All the boys, new and old are ready for a complete 180 degree spin. Our biggest challenge this year is not Providence Academy or DeLaSalle… It’s ourselves,” Carlson said. With one victory against Blake in a scrimmage, Spartan players like Carlson are more hopeful than ever: “I do believe in the Spartans, and in order for us to win games we need to believe in ourselves,” Carlson said. [imagebrowser id=11]
