Ninth grader Adam Holod about to score a 3 pointer.

Spartan Boys Varsity Basketball played a tough but strong game against Breck on Jan. 9, losing 43-69. They didn’t score much during the first half but noticeably picked up the pace in the second. Senior Nik Elsaesser, junior Ethan Less, and ninth grader Adam Holod played an especially strong game in the second half. Juniors Will Christakos and Ryan Moore both made three pointers. Senior Gus Grunau made nearly all of his free throws and had a strong game.

Their next game is Jan. 12 at The Blake School-Hopkins at 7 pm.
